karla nash is the woman who was attacked by a two hundred-pound chimpanzee back in February if you remember that story she has made her first public appearance since the attack she went on oprahs show and we have video of it it’s something that you uh we got it have a little warning yeah everybody be careful here this is uh this is you know it’s tough to look at to be honest with you so you know we kid around with eyemuff and earmuff the kids you really might wanna earmuff the kids on this one and maybe yourself uh so now having said that lets watch this may upset some viewers a chimp attack back in February ripped off part of a woman’s face and on today’s oprah winfrey show charlotte nash revealed some of the damage you can take the hat off uh the hat that comes off all right all right so the veil is lifted you know many people around the world want to get a picture of you you’re aware of that right I had, did hear that there are a lot of reporters in the beginning wanted to get a picture of you Nash’s face was injured when she was trying to get the chimp all right wow man that’s so tough you know how did it get like that I just don’t even understand you know how they do the facial reconstruction every once in a while yeah you know obviously um I’m sure she’s looking into it I would guess you know what’s incredible about this story is she doesn’t even know the extent of her injuries like she doesn’t want to know she hasn’t looked well she can’t look in the mirror and the …

A leaked Verizon End of Life document shows the various Verizon BlackBerrys and when they’re marked for death. The BlackBerry Storm2 and Curve 8530 are next on the list and will be terminated as of the Fall of 2010. The exact dates are October 10th for the Storm2 and September 16th for the 8530. Generally, it looks like BlackBerrys are targeted at having about a year long shelf life, since the Bold 9650 is targeted as having an End of Life around March 31st, 2010.

Back in June, some BlackBerry developers received a powerpoint presentation outlining the changes coming with BlackBerry 6. While the information is intended for developers, it also serves as an excellent summary of what’s to come for consumers as well.

Most of what’s contained in these image files has been common knowledge for quite some time now, but official information is always interesting to browse through. One of the items I found particularly interesting, though unrelated to BlackBerry 6 from an end-user perspective, is the demographics section. Comparing BlackBerry smartphone users to non-BlackBerry smartphone and standard cellphone customers, it’s apparent that BlackBerry handsets are still holding strong on the communications side of things.
