Plenty of carriers have announced the BlackBerry Curve 3G and it looks like Verizon might get in on some of the action. According to a leaked rebate form, Verizon will be getting the Curve 3G in Fuchsia (red) and Charcoal Gray. Also, since this rebate form ends on October 31st, we could be seeing a launch some time in the next few weeks.
If you’re on Verizon will you be picking up the new Curve 3G?

Those of you who own a Curve 8520 or 8900 and are with T-Mobile, there is a new official OS version available for download. We’ve already seen .822 land for the Bold 9000 on both Rogers and AT&T, so it looks like this may be one of better versions available for devices that won’t see BlackBerry 6.
If you decide to update, let us know your findings in the comments!

If you’re a T-Mobile BlackBerry user, and have no plans of jumping off the BlackBerry or T-Mobile bandwagons, listen up. T-Mobile has just announced, via Facebook, that they will be launching the BlackBerry Curve 3G on September 8th. The device runs BlackBerry OS 5 (but is BlackBerry 6 ready), has Wi-Fi, 3G, and a 2 megapixel shooter. The handset will retail for a mere $80 on a 2-year contract and will be available in grey and purple. There you have it.

Rogers has carried a few BlackBerry handsets in purple variations, and the new Curve 3G is no exception. While typically labeled as “Lavender”, this new purple variation is being tagged as “Smokey Lavender”, and is available now in retail locations and online.
It’s nice to see carriers focusing on BlackBerry 6-compatible devices from RIM, which should help further popularize BlackBerry handsets in the consumer market. What do you think about the new “Smokey Lavender” Curve 3G from Rogers? Let us know in the comments!

Here is yet another round of images for the BlackBerry Curve 9300 Kepler. A few more shots showing the new sleek chrome bezel, the new battery, and the option to turn on WiFi. We have confirmed that there will be a 9330 CDMA version of the 9300. We’re assuming we’ll see this replacement hit Verizon, Sprint, and other CDMA carriers that currently offer the 8500 series devices.
